Good use of backward effects.

That said it ends up being too much for me personally. Still everyone's got something to bitch about. I have to say, A whole song done with backwards loops is truly original. Great use of innovation and the straight forward guitars make it well worth while. As Satriani put it, it's STRANGE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. Keep up the good work!

joplajop responds:

thx...

great use of atmophere

I found no delivery of the goods ( as Priest put it). yet, I applaud what you did. It's smooth and undeniably enjoyable. Production is Great, I'm always happy to hear something quality. Keep it up, and think about collaboration. I could really use some of this kind of music to intro or outro the stuff I'm working on. Get back to me!

Tx-Maniac-xT responds:

Sweet. will do. That was an awesome review. Thanks for the feedback!

sounds great

but you've been recording to many sonic themes. i finished the arpeggio thing check it out guy.

Metaljonus responds:

Sonic is the pwn. I'll listen to it when Im not zombiefied.

just as impactive as the original

'course they wrote it but you've written material just as good. What's the background, ocean sounds with whale mating calls. just kidding.good job.

Eternalreich responds:

A combination of wind, a little feedback, and me breathing. The mic was over my right shoulder witch was cool cause it cut down on the volume of the string scraping and made it fit without overpowering it all. Took a while to get a good take.

Thanks for the good view metal brother.

not usually my favorite style of metal but

i really got into this. great harmonies, truly quality female vocals, and the dual clean and scream parts were my favorite. that kind of thing has become kind of common place lately but this just sounded killer to me. and also nice guitar solo.

neoblent2 responds:

Yeah. We put a lot of thought and effort into trying to make the best folk metal we possibly can. It def shows in our finished product too. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

good song

but the theme is definitely from a movie or tv show. now that's driving me crazy trying to figure it out. i do that all the time writing riff and they turn out to be a slight variation of something subconcious. i enjoyed it anyway.

himenow responds:

It is?
Well, I don't watch too many TV shows.

good riff ideas

check some of my friend favorites. you might be able to hit the up for drums. i'd do 'em but i can't get my ezdrummer working.

Olzone responds:

thx mate ! its kinda messy atm, but im gonna fix that later. and I would check your friends favorites if I only know who he was. ^^ to bad you couldnt get the drum program to work =(

I dig the whole thing

can't really make any criticisms. It's a great mix of all good metal. The clean vocals killed.

neoblent2 responds:

Thanks man. I really appreciate the support.

so many layers....

that it kept me hooked the whole time. the leads were ripping but subtle and the synth really sounds great.

sculpted-cold responds:

I used soundfonts for the synths, hehe.

This Rules

Real drums are great, but almost impossible to capture well, without $15000 in mics. I like this a lot more than your new one. The melodies and harmonies as well as the stucture flow are fantastic.

cowdog2 responds:

yea yea, i know you're totally right about real drums and badass mics. Eh. i get tired of these artificial drums. BUT i'm glad you like that song, hearing that from you is pretty awesome since you're such a critic at music.
